It's a new month! September always feels like the start of fall to me... even though it's still hovering around 100F in Texas. Maybe if I put out all my autumnal decorations and light some fall scented candles the weather will cool down faster... one can only hope, right?
Anyways, what's new in the StarFishSpace? Let's discuss!

NEW SHOP UPDATES!
In addition to new merch and goodies, this month I added flat rate international shipping to the store! Folks outside the US will now be able to get stuff shipped for MUCH cheaper than before- just select "PirateShip Flat Rate" shipping at checkout!

I've been in the process of revamping my store's offerings, and wanted to make some new Pokemon merch. But, instead of just drawing the Pokemon, I decided I wanted to do some gijinkas (humanized versions)! And, for an extra bit of fun... I made them all D&D characters!
I made a video discussing the process- give it a watch!

MY WEBCOMIC
Castoff is still continuing on with chapter 14! We've got some very exciting scenes coming up this month... Including some bits I've been waiting almost 10 years to draw!!
You can read pages as they're released on the website... but did you know that Patreon supporters get pages over a month in advance? They're getting to read my favorite scene of the chapter right now...! And you can join them, if you want!
Read the comic! | Get early pages on Patreon!

I'm done vending at events for the year- but I'll be attending Lightbox Expo this October! I'll be hosting my Webcomics 101 panel on Friday, and hanging around the con the rest of the weekend. Come find me and I may have a prize for you...!

THE PART WHERE I RAMBLE FOR A BIT
I'm not gonna lie, August was hard!! I accidentally bit off way more than I could chew in regards to work projects... On top of all my usual work. My schedule is already full to bursting most weeks, but unfortunately I also get easily excited about new stuff. And then I wear myself out trying to finish the new stuff. Awhoops. Don't be like me, kids.
The good news is, I've been working on hiring an assistant for my comic work! More info on that later- but having an assistant will hopefully make my life a LOT easier, and free up time to work on other projects! Like my poor novel that I've barely touched all month. Don't worry, baby, once San Japan is finished I'm coming back for you...!!
Anyway, that's it for our September digest! See y'all next month~
